Generate Gcode form complex SVG
Hey, I am trying to generate G code for my 3D printer that I converted to a plotter. For now i tried only modest SVG and using Inkscape with GcodeTools has been super convenient. However Now I wanna do something a bit more complicated, I am trying to use the svg outputted by City Roads to plot a map of a city. It's quite a complicated model so everytime I try converting it GcodeTools crashes. Is there any solution, g code simplification, other software ???

Question for everyone one here. What Is your go to way to learn map pages for your city? I am considering paying a company to make some sort of interactive map page app or game to make the process less boring. Am I wrong for wanting to do this? Maybe someone here has input that would be useful?
I made a little javascript tool for this for my dept. Some people found it useful there. I put it up here a bit ago and some people played with it here but I don't know how many people kept up and continued to use it. It's not perfect.
