How to ruin a casual Hightower match
TF2HUD.Fixes Complete Pack
-
Installed IDHUD (Improved Default HUD) (fonts first then drop it into tf/custom), but it shows this instead. Also the game crashes when I go click on "Casual Mode". Anyone know how to fix this?
Uninstall that hud. Instead, use the tf2 community hud. https://github.com/CriticalFlaw/TF2HUD.Fixes

tf2 community fixes can become official! (sorry for russian language)
See also the Default HUD Fixes (works in Casual, just a HUD) (Workshop link) and Ultimate Visual Fix (doesn't work in Casual).

Am I the only person that likes playing TF2 unmodified and on mostly default settings?
You're not alone. The only settings that I have changed are the graphics, key binds and HUD (minimal with HUD Fix). I don't like to play with the console cvars (like interp, pov, model scale and transparency, etc.) as I don't feel it necessary for a casual play.
What are some alternatives?
