So apparently cheaters can see how people vote?
Cathook had this ability since May 2019 and the possibility was there from the beggining of TF2's release. It will work until the mechanism is changed by Valve.

Steam group for LMAOBOX bots (the DoesHotters) has been banned by Valve, I've never seen anything like this before.
There are 55 different people that contributed code to cathook. It had updates pushed immediately.

Cathook had to update their binary signature, meaning that VAC was updated.
This is incorrect. OP's title is essentially nothing but technobabble. here is the commit in question My best guess at what this commit actually does is change the offset of part of a pointer chain. However, there is no chance that this change was meant to "update their binary signature". Such a small change would do little to change what cathook looks like to an AC, much less make it completely undetectable.

TF2 Update Released: The Steam Charts player count lost about 30,000 players immediately. I have not seen a single bot since this update dropped.
The reason is updates require a signature that bot clients just forge. Here's cathook getting ready to come back: https://github.com/nullworks/cathook/pull/1632
