[OC] One year in life of ocean eddies
There is not really much to it, really. Everything is done in python, with use of standard libraries, of which probably most important in this case is cartopy https://scitools.org.uk/cartopy/docs/latest/ This is the latest cartopy tutorial I was able to find: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivmd3RluMiw
- [OC] This animation shows how the amount of daylight throughout the year changes based on Latitude. Made with Python and the matplotlib library.

Is there a good library for creating maps and altering them according to data?
Cartopy is a great lib that has a ton of utilities for those purposes. It is a little bit tricky to use at first but you can get really nice visualizations. I recommend installing it using with a conda env because its dependencies with other libraries.

A partial solution to YouTube's new ad-block blocking.
However, I have found a partial solution. Using the "video speed controller"(link) extension you can instead speed up ads so they last only a few seconds.

Best YouTube Extensions
Video Speed Controller - This one has been a must for me. It changes the speed of a video using keyboard shortcuts. I have it set to increase the speed by 1x each time I push the "d" key, and decrease it by 1x when I push the "s" key. I also have it set to go to 4x speed when I push the "g" key. In addition, the extension contains additional functionality that lets you skip around in a video, I have it set to a minute, using shortcut keys. This is a great addition I use sometimes to YouTube's default 5 and 10 second skip times. One thing to note - this extension works on ALL videos on ALL websites, but note you can set it to only work on YouTube. Video Speed Controller - Chrome Web Store (google.com)
