Manga on Kindle?
Or using Calibre (pdf or azw3) https://calibre-ebook.com
-
Ebooks
There are already some very good ebooks solutions out there so there's really no need. Calibre for the backend and database management, Calibre-Web for the front end, and Openbooks for content.

Calibre – New in Calibre 7.0
https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibre
I just noticed that Calibre is referred to as an eBook manager, which is more in line with what I was talking about in some sense. All of that should fall under `eBook Manager`
Right sidebar on GH has multiple ways to donate to this project: https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibre

Kindle AND books?
Sure thing - another must-have resource if you get a kindle is good library management software. Assuming you download books instead of purchasing them directly from Amazon. The gold standard is Calibre eBook manager (windows and Mac, 100% free). Using it, you can sideload books to your device using a cable or email.

How do you read/organize your comic bundles?
I have mine in a calibre library on a Mac.

Is the pocketboom era the right choice for me ?
You might want to use Calibre on your PC to manage your library, it is entirely free and a fantastic piece of software. It also can convert eBook formats very well, also the abovementioned AZW format or KFX format, and with plugins, it can even remove copy protection.

What version of RTF (Rich Text Format) does LibreOffice adhere to?

Can someone walk me through the easiest epub to kepub method for fanfiction (Ao3) like I'm five?
If you're using Calibre, there is fanficfare that can grab and update the files from Ao3. Can grab from Fanficfare-github. I also rec the Kobo touch extended and kobo utilities. I keep a epub and kepub copy as storage isn't an issue for me, but I believe there's a way to have it convert on transfer.

How to update your offline downloaded fanfiction collection?
Right, so there is a workaround but it's a pain in the ass. Not hard, just... tedious.
-
What are your favorite fics found exclusively on FF.net?
https://github.com/JimmXinu/FanFicFare together with https://github.com/nsapa/fanfictionnet_ff_proxy … yeah, not for the weak-willed. Also, alias ff_cache=fanficfare -o use_browser_cache=true -o use_browser_cache_only=true works (with proper configuration).

4 months since I got this Kindle and I only have 6 books on here... The rest are all fanfiction lol
It works very well, and is continually maintained by the developer. If you use it with fanfiction.net, you have to set it up to use your browser cache (there are instructions here: https://github.com/JimmXinu/FanFicFare/wiki/BrowserCacheFeature). That reminds me, there is another app you could use called FanFictionDownloader (www.fanfictiondownloader.net), but it's not integrated with Calibre like FanfictionFare. Yet other options are the WebToEpub plugin. I use it in FireFox, but it might be available for other browsers. But for the most part FanFictionFare (FFF) is the best, and works with AO3 as well as fanfiction.net (and many others).

Why would I get "'fanficfare' is a package and cannot be directly executed" when trying to use a tool in the Command Prompt?
According to the code repo on github, it looks like you need to run fanficfare.cli - code here: https://github.com/JimmXinu/FanFicFare/blob/main/fanficfare/cli.py ... I don't see any howto guides or tutorials online, but the project used to be called FanFictionDownLoader(FFDL), so maybe you'll find something by searching for that?
I closed it and tried again and got the same error. It's this package, I don't see anything to indicate I can't use it with Windows.
- Best e-reader for fanfics?
-
Any way to get FicHub to download Sidestory and Apocrypha?
I believe FanFicFare downloads everything. It integrates nicely with Calibre.

People who use text-to-speech functions to consume fanfics, what makes listening easier for you?
Downloading EPubs from FFnet is incredibly painful (I use https://github.com/nsapa/fanfictionnet_ff_proxy and https://github.com/JimmXinu/FanFicFare, but it is really not for faint hearted), but it seems https://ff2ebook.com/ still works, so it is possible to download EPub even from FFnet and then let it be read by EPub reader. I use free (both as in beer and as in freedom) https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.coolreader.fdroid/ and it works with Google TTS just fine.
