Migrating from LastPass to Bitwarden - opinions?
This sounds like an XY Problem. It sounds like you're missing a good IAP solution to deal with access controls. Something like oauth2_proxy, Keycloak, Pomerium, etc. Hell, I've even set up a basic IAP with Caddy and Oauth Portal.

Single Sign On (SSO) with subdomains using Caddy v2
There's a caveat though: one of your subdomains/routes needs to be marked as primary yes (for reasons explained here), but the sso snippet we defined didn't have this. So, you'll need to copy and paste the config into one of your routes and add primary yes before you can just use import sso in the rest.

Take a look at https://github.com/greenpau/caddy-auth-jwt Iβm using it pre login to get to my pages, but it should be able to do what you want.
