Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Lighting up the caves via ReShade
The only shader I'm using is eyeadaptation.fx, and with that you can actually have a strategy when playing (rather than just reflex reactions to jump scares).

Need TOS advice/opinions on a tool idea to make the in-game UI pseudo-customizable
I tried googling for a bit and found this: https://github.com/brussell1/Shaders/blob/master/Shaders/AreaCopy.fx
- Where can I get the .fx files, like fakehdr.fx? I have a game install from someone else, but when I install reshade to another game, most fx files are missing. Can I just copy and paste? (Even if they're from an older version?)
- Is there a way to find out where the reshade installer sources all the various shaders from? Can't use the installer under WINE so I need to get them manually

How to increase contrast for games
Download all the shaders/textures from the ReShade and SweetFX repositories. Merge them, you should have a single Shaders folder with all shaders and a single Textures folder with all textures.
For Vulkan games (also D3D through the use of DXVK/VKD3D) you can use vkBasalt to change not only contrast, but improve the image in many ways through the use of ReShade shaders. To increase contrast, you can use the Curves.fx shader from SweetFX. I also like DPX.fx from that repository, it allows you to increase contrast but also make the image warmer and more vivid. Tonemap.fx is great if you want to change gamma, exposure, saturation, I highly recommend it.

u/fholger created a mod to enable AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution in SteamVR games
I've tested the sharpening filters quite a lot in the past few weeks, the Filmic Anamorphic Sharpen to my eyes is too sharp, it seems to add some kind of whiteness around objects, CAS is fine, but it doesn't sharpen much with default settings, DELC seems to be the best with its default settings.

What are some alternatives?
reshade-shaders - A collection of post-processing shaders written for ReShade.
qUINT - Collection of general-purpose effects for the ReShade shader injector.
Depth3D - Depth Based 3D & Other post-process shaders
openvr_fsr - Add Image Upscaling via AMD FidelityFX SuperResolution or NVIDIA Image Scaling to SteamVR games
Warp-FX - Shaders that in no way make your game any more appealing. Use them anyways.
AstrayFX - Shaders for ReShade that strayed away from the Depth3D Repo.
reshade-vrtoolkit - Modular shader to enhance you HMD clarity & sharpness with minimal performance impact.
reshade-shaders - Shaders that in no way make your game any more appealing. Use them anyways. [Moved to: https://github.com/Radegast-FFXIV/Warp-FX]
vkBasalt - a vulkan post processing layer for linux
OtisFX - A small set of effects for Reshade
reshade-shaders - A shader framework to manage post-processing effects written for the ReShade injector.
