Guidance about cross compilation tools, especially targeting musl
5 projects | reddit.com/r/rust | 4 Nov 2021
cargo-cross works well for me. A big upside is that I use the same tool to build for all the targets except the native one* . This lets me have consistent scripts to build all targets, like this one.

That’s what I do most of the time as well. I’ve been meaning to learn to use Broot better for this purpose too.

Any way to replace invoking commands with something other than :?
1 project | reddit.com/r/neovim | 24 Oct 2021
I recently started using broot and love how one invokes "verbs" with the spacebar. Much easier to type " q" rather than ":q."

Best way to search+copy/move a list of files in Thunar ? (catfish alternatives)
1 project | reddit.com/r/xfce | 31 May 2021
I haven't dug too far into it, but I've started to play around a bit with a tool called broot. It's a command line tool, kind of like a file manager / directory navigator with tools to search, move and copy files. Might be worth a look.

How can I get emojis viewable on Suckless st
1 project | reddit.com/r/openSUSE | 1 Mar 2021
I'd like to use a setup with dwm, dwmblocks, and st. However, the setup I'm using (meant for Arch-based distros) uses a lot of emojis, and it'd be quite a bit of work to remove every emoji. Right now most of them are just boxes, and st crashes when opening a file containing them or when they are in stdout. The recommended solution is to install libxft-bgra from the AUR. But There doesn't seem to be an equivalent compatible with OpenSUSE. I could get it from source from gitlab but if it's overwriting a library, should I do that? How would I?
