What is your current setup? Bootloader, filesystem, partitions, etc.
initramfs: booster - TPM2 support, way faster than mkinitcpio, autodiscovering root partition

Complex Issue:
Note I'm using booster, so assuming you're using the default mkinitcpio you probably want /boot/initramfs-linux.img. Also, don't forget to modify if your ESP isn't mounted at /boot like mine.

Booster dont loads with efistub
check the latest changes in https://github.com/anatol/booster/ project. Master branch has some fixes related to boot. Install booster-git from AUR.
GPT table detection has higher priority at booster code. But for some reason it does not identify your partition table as GPT. Filed a github bug for it https://github.com/anatol/booster/issues/119

Booster 0.7 released
Booster is an initramfs generator that aims to be simple, secure and fast.
Me too prefer to have some unified way to created signed EFI images outside of initramfs generator. Though I do not think that pacman adds it anytime soon. Thus most likely it needs to be implemented at booster side. I just opened a request for it https://github.com/anatol/booster/issues/110
