Generating and Working With ScriptPubKeys in Bitcoin Transactions
As mentioned previously, ScriptPubKeys are scripts that embody the locking conditions of bitcoins in a Bitcoin transaction. They are a crucial element of a Bitcoin transaction that specifies the requirements that must be met before an unspent transaction output (UTXO) is used. The ScriptPubKey, combined with the Amount, creates an output of a Bitcoin transaction. Like every other script, ScriptPubKeys are made up of operators and data. During the encoding of a transaction, both data and the operands are represented in hexadecimal format. You can find the hex representation for all operands used in Bitcoin Scripts here.

Why I self host my servers (and what I've recently learned)
Umbrel[0] maybe? I posted a list of related services here[1] as well, though most of them are cloud based.

Self Hosting 101 – A Beginner's Guide
Have you checked out Umbrel[1]?
You can self-host Umbrel on your own hardware[2] as well. I'm not sure if they allow for multiple nodes that can stay in sync. If (/once) they do, it'd solve for disasters / availability.

Escaping Surveillance Capitalism, at Scale
I really thought this article was going to offer a solution, not just enumerate the problems. I'm already all too familiar with the problems.
I like what Umbrel[0] is doing. They're essentially expecting that just like computing was able to move from centralized mainframes to homes, servers are poised to make the same migration.
I think they really need to solve redundancy, though. If I'm to self-host anything important on a home server, I need to know I'll have some way to use it even if my home server fails, especially if I'm not at home when it happens.
I'd love to see some kind of system where I could partner up with other Umbrel users for backups/the ability to restore connectivity. If I knew that in an emergency, I could call my friend in town or my brother out of state and there was some procedure that would allow me to connect to an encrypted backup of what I'm needing, I would feel a lot better about taking responsibility for my own system.
