For people curious, the NowInAndroid repo does do this "build-logic" Gradle structure. I used that as a reference to apply this in our repo and it's been an amazing experience. Never have I had such a simple way to introduce new modules to the codebase. Effortless.
The Android Clean Architecture is surely so clean that I barely see any packages here

Android Starting Template Updated to Compose
2 projects | reddit.com/r/androiddev | 21 Nov 2022
Hello! I have brought this template before, and we had great feedback's at that time, one of them was to migrate the Gradle files to kotlin. That and a few other things have been addressed here. The most notable ones are the migration to compose and modularization. The goal of this Template is to be our starting point for new projects, following the best development practices. It's our interpretation and adaptation of the official architecture guidelines provided by Google. And it's inspired by Google's NowInAndroid.
