/r/Plex's Moronic Mondays' No Stupid Questions Thread - 2023-07-10
There may be better places, since I've just stuck to the same one for years now (and don't need them often enough to look into alternatives), but I usually use either subscene or opensubtitles. There are also programs that can automate it like bazarr, but it requires you to also use Sonarr/Radarr.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me!! Recent streaming services, prices and shows getting butchered, finally decided its time. Here's how a basic self-hosted 'Netflix' would look like. Fully automated once its setup. Using only a makeshift homelab server from second hand parts.
Bazarr: Manages subtitles for Radarr.

The World’s Oldest Active Torrent Turns 20 Years Old
I forgot to mention there's also Jackett:
https://github.com/Jackett/Jackett
Qbittorrent uses plugins to the sites themselves (including Jackett):
https://github.com/qbittorrent/search-plugins/wiki/Unofficia...
And it's what I use to search for torrents.
I would never trust a site without an adblocker and keep uBlock active in Private Mode.
But with all this, you need to know what you're searching for, browsing for content is another story

Was Rarbg the only site that had 4k HDR10/DV Remux files?
Not exactly - https://github.com/Jackett/Jackett
-
FYI you can still download RARBG encoded media with qBittorrent's search engine feature
Bitsearch.to has most of it mirrored. I don't think theres a python plugin, but it comes with Jackett, which can be added to qbit as a plugin.

RIP RARBG <3 <3

- Rarbg down, seemingly, for good
- Att dela Netflixkonto upphör i Sverige
- Got stuck halfway when setting up Jackett
