How do I support my Little Brother in pursuing a career in robotics?
He can initially get started with python and Linux based systems gradually... Once if he is comfortable with both he can get into ROS. There are a lot of freely available materials online to learn ROS. Once ROS basics are handy he can make use of a lot of freely available HW simulators and SW packages etc., like https://github.com/ahundt/awesome-robotics .
