another is to use FreeMediaHY slavart. they moved to Divolt, a discord clone. its Browser based. after making an divolt account, you can use the android app version of divolt here on github

And the answer was "stuff is clunky" without any specific details. What I find clunky is that you have to create a new account for every Revolt instance, and install a new app too. Not to mention, the apps are incompatible so you have to uninstall the Revolt app and install Divolt every time you watch to switch between viewing your Revolt chats and your Divolt chats. That seems way clunkier than Matrix
