Java Multithreading Experience
I encourage you to write some sketches or toys explicitly using multithreading before introducing it into your work's codebase. For me, that most recently involved writing a game client for jdno's air traffic control simulator.

I like Zachtronics games as much as the next crazy person, but the thought of having to implement this for a game gives me anxiety

Not Snake - my first game released made with Bevy
My only goal with this game was to finish a short game so the code quality took a backseat while I learned the ins-and-outs of Bevy and prototyped different ideas. If you want to check out the code, you can here. I'm hoping to make a code walkthrough video to go over everything and point out what I learned and what I would do differently.
