Ask HN: Who wants to be hired? (May 2025)
iOS and macOS developer with a strong focus on native development for Apple platforms. Actively building and maintaining personal projects whilst staying up to date with the latest in Swift, Apple frameworks and industry trends.
Currently developing a macOS Mastodon client, Oliphaunt — more details, screenshots and feedback are available here (https://github.com/anosidium/Oliphaunt-Feedback-And-Support). Previously built HacKit (https://apps.apple.com/app/id1549557075), a macOS Hacker News reader, which has been well received for its simplicity and adherence to platform design language. Ask HN: What are you working on? (April 2025)
I’m currently developing Oliphaunt, a native macOS client for Mastodon, designed to offer a clean, responsive and fully native experience that feels at home on the platform. You can find more details, including screenshots and a project overview, here: https://github.com/anosidium/Oliphaunt-Feedback-And-Support. A new TestFlight build will be available soon, with plans for an eventual App Store release.
I’m also working on the next version of HacKit, a macOS Hacker News reader focused on simplicity, performance and adherence to macOS design language. It’s already available on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id1549557075 and further information can be found here: https://github.com/anosidium/HacKit-Feedback-And-Support.
I’d be delighted to hear any feedback, suggestions, or ideas — or simply to connect with others working on Apple platform development.

[Recruiting] HacKit — A Hacker News macOS reader app for reading stories and polls
You can read a bit more about the app here to have some background information and give me feedback on TestFlight or on GitHub.

I wrote a native macOS Cocoa app for reading Hacker News
It is not a port of an iPhone nor an iPad app and it is not a Catalyst app either. It is an AppKit app written in Swift. It is made exactly for the Mac following its platform conventions. You can read more about it on my GitHub README.
