Good time to remind people that you should regularly backup your cloud storages using rclone[1].

I would recommend using Backblaze B2 with rclone or another cloud storage provider supported by rclone (there are many!). Rclone can be configured to encrypt data on-the-fly, giving you a reasonably secure storage space.

Backup solution for homelab?
Ideally, you'd want a local backup server or a NAS plus another copy in cloud (or offsite). Cloud is usually easier to arrange but depends on your uplink speed. You can do for example Veeam for local backups and then combine it with Starwinds VTL: https://www.starwindsoftware.com/starwind-virtual-tape-library-free or Rclone: https://rclone.org/ to copy backups to cloud.

Trouble uploading GitLab backups to company Sharepoint
You're probably best off using rclone. Contrary to its name, it's very capable of just sending individual files over. SharePoint is configured as part of OneDrive, you'll have the option to put in a SharePoint site ID. The WebDAV option should also work.
