Second, when dealing with OCI helm charts, look up the umbrella chart model https://github.com/argoproj/argocd-example-apps/blob/master/helm-dependency/README.md. This basically lets you create a helm chat that doesn’t do anything but call your next helm chart as a dependency. I use this with OCI stores helm charts all over the place. Also, in the next ArgoCD release, you should be able to get multiple sources for a sync, but we’ll see when that comes out

Yes. I personally use Kustomize overlays. Here is an contrived example with 10+ envs https://github.com/kostis-codefresh/gitops-environment-promotion/tree/main/envs

You can find the suggested folder structure at https://github.com/kostis-codefresh/gitops-environment-promotion. All environments are different folders in the same branch. There are NO branches for the different environments. If you want to know what is deployed in an environment, you simply look at envs/ in the main branch of the repo.
