10 Throwaway Email Generators and Why You Need One In 2021 - Guide
1 project | reddit.com/r/privacy | 21 Nov 2021
For those I use simplelogin.io. You use their domains or port your own domain name over and issue more permanent (but still random) emails.
Why 2FA is very important.

I use aliases for 99% of my accounts. In case someone is interested, examples of companies that do this are SimpleLogin, AnonAddy, and Fastmail (integrated into 1Password). There are others but these are the top ones that come to mind.

You could try SimpleLogin or AnonAddy for email aliases.
Getting rid of spam emails
1 project | reddit.com/r/PrivacyGuides | 13 Nov 2021
Get yourself a Simplelogin. Free version is very feature rich. Has iOS/Android app, Firefox extension and the regular web. This way you get randomized email addresses that you can enable/disable/terminate with a couple clicks. Forward to your old email or a new one. Free.
Perhaps an odd question but what do you use Protonmail for? I'm stuck between wanting privacy but not having a nagging concern that, since Proton is smaller-time than companies like Google, I don't want important accounts linked to an email that might one day not exist because the company closes
2 projects | reddit.com/r/ProtonMail | 12 Nov 2021
I highly recommend an aliasing service, another option to consider is SimpleLogin. you can check both of them and see what's best for you.
What are your thoughts on other providers? Specifically Ctemplar and Protonmail?

This might work https://simplelogin.io/
Use my email? I'll use your points.

You should sign up for a private email service that allows you to create fake aliases that you can turn on and off to prevent things like this in the future. I built one called Telios, but there are others like Anon Addy and Simple Login.
ELI5: How do we know that "secure" chat apps like Signal are actually secure?
1 project | reddit.com/r/explainlikeimfive | 25 Nov 2021
Signal is open source. So anyone can view the code, propose changes, or make their own variant of it. This means experts can inspect and review the code for backdoors and flaws. You can find the Android source here. While being open source does not guarantee security, a popular open source project will have many eyes on it. As a result glaring flaws can and will get noticed and reported.

What's that one app on your phone u think everyone should have ?
1 project | reddit.com/r/Morocco | 21 Nov 2021
Molly Which is a fork of Signal Is An Open Source p2p Encrypted Communication App That Is Privacy Focused/Secure, It doesn't record any information about you neither your data or anything at all, the only thing that keep is what you sign up with and that is your phone number. Its soo good that even the FBI and other intelligence agencies were soo mad about It, in fact the fbi requested some things about an individual and what they got was his phone number which they already supplied to the company signal lol. I hope everyone switch to signal rather using proprietary (private without source code) garbage such us whatsapp which evaluate your privacy and your personal information and tracks you all the time.

How to import sms messages to signal messenger app.

Chatted for awhile, got her cell, you cannot make this stuff up haha
2 projects | reddit.com/r/Tinder | 16 Nov 2021
With SMS I can assure you that it’s the most tracked messaging protocol out there, let alone it’s insecure with zero protection from your provider or anyone interfering. I strongly suggest Signal where everyone can message you regardless if they have an iPhone or not.2 projects | reddit.com/r/Tinder | 16 Nov 2021
Y’all should use Signal you can do a lot more there. I convinced my friends to switch and we have group chats
I use Signal for SMS and the contact photos of people who don't use Signal don't show up in notifications. Is there any way to have non Signal users contact photos show up in Notifications on Android 12?
1 project | reddit.com/r/signal | 15 Nov 2021
Perhaps some sort of permission issue with 12? Might be an idea to submit an issue at Github? https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Android/issues (I don't know how many devs are on this sub?)
