I love Ice as well. Hoping development resumes soon, the developer got busy with life a few months ago and there are a few QoL changes that would really elevate this. Notably, the ability to declare the location where "new" icons are placed (left, right, hidden etc)

macOS Sequoia is available today
Apple locking down the OS even more by making Gatekeeper harder to bypass makes me want to skip this version for as long as possible.
The screen recording permission thing also doesn't help since I'm using Ice (https://github.com/jordanbaird/Ice) because somehow Apple still can't Sherlock this feature.

macOS Bartender Auto-Update Signed by Unknown New Owner
Hidden Bar is working on my M1 Max MBP 16" with macOS 14.5. Not an option for me because it can't handle the notch, but the basic functionality works.
Ice ( https://github.com/jordanbaird/Ice ) also works, although it's still missing a lot of stuff and also still doesn't have anything to work around the notch. It's being updated though.
If no app works, then it might be something to do with your setup? Maybe some app you use or some change you've made? Very annoying in any case.
What are some alternatives?
