It's Wednesday my doods
Quick Google search later to answer my own question, scrutiny seems to be it. That with LibreNMS sounds like a pretty healthy combo.

Question about scrutiny in hub-and-spoke model
I recently set up scrutiny on my network in a hub-and-spoke model, all using Docker containers. (See "Hub/Spoke Deployment" on the main readme.)
Its right there: https://github.com/AnalogJ/scrutiny/blob/master/docker/example.hubspoke.docker-compose.yml

Supervising my custom home server
Most web UIs don't provide this, though there are specialized ones that do. For example scrutiny for drive health. There are also dashboards for this like Uptime Kuma, zabbix, and checkmk

IT Pro Tuesday #239 - Windows Shortcut, DNS Relationship Lookup, Browser Dark Mode & More
Scrutiny is a hard drive health dashboard and monitoring solution that merges manufacturer-provided SMART metrics with real-world failure rates to provide you with an accurate view of hard drive health. Its web UI dashboard focuses on critical metrics, and it automatically detects all connected hard drives and tracks metrics (including temperature) for historical trends—with customized thresholds using real-world failure rates. Our thanks for this one go to lawrencek.

ProxMox Initial Setup & Advice
I would also like some kind of start page, and monitoring tools. Homepage looks like it may be a good start along with Scrutiny and possibly Cockpit. I do want this as a NAS too and was tempted to put TrueNAS on so I could manage ZFS and shares but suspect I can do that another way without the overhead. (either terminal commands, or poss through Cockpit)

Ideas needed for a home server/self host type setup, using an old i9 9900K desktop.
Homepage, scrutiny, and maybe cockpit but for server maintenance and health automating patching and alerting is more important than a dashboard.
