Is there a self-hosted software for hifi music streaming?
It doesn't have a lot of features like complex searching and transcoding, but I like https://github.com/agersant/polaris.

Self-hosted old Google Music? No streaming, but a client player that downloads/plays.
https://github.com/agersant/polaris/ is nice, but only support local caching in the Android client.

Is there a self hosted media player?
I really like https://github.com/agersant/polaris, though it doesn't support file system change detection yet.

Ask HN: Flac/MP3 listeners: How do you store/play your music?
I'm not sure if this would fit all your needs aside from running on Linux but Ampache [1][2] has been around for a very long time and has the ability to mesh with other instances. It started as a small project run by some students at OSU and evolved over time.

Releases · ampache/ampache
Great news! One thing, the 6.0.0-preview1 section of the releases page says the changes are listed at https://github.com/ampache/ampache/wiki/Ampache-Next-Changes but that points to changes in 5.0. The link should be https://github.com/ampache/ampache/wiki/ampache6-details

Where I can do my backup?
Now it's time to make backups of my nextcloud, bitwarden, ampache files.

What's yout preferred selfhosted music streaming suite?
Ampache. I've been using it for a while and it's great. I'd suggest using it with Ample, as Ample's UI is better. It supports the Subsonic API, so subsonic clients will work with it. It also supports DAAP and uPnP, for other clients. It has it's own API as well, but not many apps use that.

Selfhosted Spotify / YouTube Music alternative.
If you're using a local music library, Ampache is really good. It supports docker too. The UI's customizable if you don't like it, they have documentation for theming. I'm not really sure what you mean exactly by spotify integration, but there are settings for spotify API keys in Ampache's config file so it might be what you want. Ask HN: FOSS Projects Worth Donating To?
Ampache has been around for a long time. When it first started at a college I donated beer but they also accept money. [1] I think they would prefer contributions in the form of software development. [2]
