What's this type of plugin called? (it shows the structure of code)
I tried aerial.nvim the other day and it's pretty cool. Haven't tried lspsaga yet so I'm not sure if it fits the same purpose.
-
Configuration passed to plugin's setup is not persistent
I am using aerial found here and I really like it except that when I press a function, it doesn't close the window. And I had thought I fixed it with
-
How do you jump to the beginning of a function
I use https://github.com/stevearc/aerial.nvim, it knows which is the current function. I currently open the telescope display and just press "enter", but AerialPrev would work just as well.

Please inform me of the plugin(s) enabling these two features
First one could be lualine and Aerial.

Navigation between functions
I also use ]m, but it’s not a very good way to choose and move to functions quickly and with intention. Options include aerial.nvim, symbols-outline.nvim, and the new nvim-navbuddy, from the developer who made nvim-navic.

AstroNvim/AstroNvim: AstroNvim is an aesthetic and feature-rich Neovim config
AstroNvim is using aerial.nvim which is a great code outline plugin. It has several supported backends on top of LSP and Treesitter it also supports Man page structure and Markdown structure explicitly. We also use the API for building the breadcrumbs at the top of each window as well!
- How do I get this little tree like hierarchy of the code on the top?

Can't find plugin that shows all functions on the right
You might want aerial.nvim

Can i show this in NvimTree ?
I use aerial.nvim for this, though I have been debating making an extension for Neo-tree to do this

What is this font used from the everforest repo?
I ended up finding https://github.com/preservim/tagbar and like it so far

NeoVim & Rust
I also recommend you https://github.com/preservim/tagbar with https://ctags.io/ installed , it will map definitions (functions, enum, struct etc..) to tags and tagbar plugin allows you to open a split window with the mapped list and navigate through your file, it also enabled more advanced features for quick navigation .

Question regarding vertical movement
Also not that useful for text files I think, but I sometimes use something like https://github.com/preservim/tagbar to get an overview of the structure of the file, especially in unfamiliar documents. This is a quite old plugin of this nature that depends on ctags, there are more modern plugins that depend on treesitter. However for C++, I found the treesitter based bar plugins not as helpful, they need language specific settings, and the ones I tried didn't have them for C++ at the time.

Favorite vimrc configs for coding?
Having said this, there are some useful language independent extensions: jiangmiao/auto-pairs, tpope/vim-commentary, preservim/tagbar, junegunn/vim-peekaboo

Tagbar with telescope?
So I just found this plugin for nvim called tagbar and this has been very productive for me, but it takes many keystrokes to get it and finding in the tagbar window is just simple searching, so no fuzzy finding. Is there another plugin for this or maybe someway to integrate the two?
