The Philips Hue ecosystem is collapsing into stupidity
My home has never felt this "smart" before. Every time my lights turns on I find the color and brightness to be perfect.

Default to natural light?
I think the best method to do this is with this home assistant integration: https://github.com/basnijholt/adaptive-lighting

Just wanted to share my HyperHDR setup.
The majority of the time, Home Assistant connects to WLED for Adaptive Lighting, accent lighting, and visual notifications. When I watch a TV show/movie, Hyperion "takes control" of the WLED instance, and does its thing. I also have overrides within HA that can temporarily disable the Hyperion control so I can get LED notifications mid-movie if I want.

F.lux, but for Your House
I would like to recommend Adaptive Lighting in favor of Circadian Lighting. It has the added benefit of being able to detect if someone manually adjusts the brightness or color, and then stops the automatic adjustment for that light.

Remotes for light control
I am running Home Assistant as the backbone for my IOT controls, and (mostly) Zwave for lights/switches. I also have a few Wifi LED strips, smartbulbs, and switches running either Tasmota, ESPHome, or WLED. Anything with CCT adjustment is automatically controlled with the Adaptive Lighting Integration, but every now and then I would like to be able to fine tune CT/color and brightness from a hardware remote. I have tried some of the Zwave remotes like this, and the Emulated Roku integration on my Logitech Harmony remotes, but they just seem a little clunky for adjusting lighting.

Looking for lights to automatically change color temperature throughout the night
There's also a more advanced add-on called Adaptive Lighting that is much more configurable: https://github.com/basnijholt/adaptive-lighting

Lighting
Haven't seen what does Philips lights do, but i guess is something similar to: https://github.com/basnijholt/adaptive-lighting
- LPT: Get ready for bed by showering with just a night light on. Spending some time in low light will help your body start to wind down before it’s time to sleep.
