Firefly III: A free and open source personal finance manager
Actual Budget was a startup that didn't work out, so the founder open-sourced it. It's self-hosted at the moment (I think there are some 3rd parties you can spin up an instance on). My big hangup with it had been that it didn't automatically sync, but that's been fixed in NA and Europe (SimpleFin, a Plaid sync extension is in the works)
This is more a budgeting tool than a Financial analytics tool, but it'll sort and filter the data, and report features are being built out (They exist in the 'experimental' section)
There is some experimental work being done with SimpleFIN integration[1] for US banks but I can't comment on how well that works.
Personally, I add each transaction manually. It allows me to stay on top my budget.
While exploring some other self hosted/OSS personal finance tools, found https://github.com/actualbudget/actual to be a promising project too.

GnuCash Tutorial and Concepts Guide
[ActualBudget](https://actualbudget.org/) supports open banking via [GoCardless](https://gocardless.com/). GoCardless (previously nordigen) deal with meeting the Open Banking standards and connecitng to all the banks and provide you with a fairly straightforward API for it.

Looking for a (preferably dockerized) personal finance software. I’d like the ability to keep record of several accounts (not bank synced just entered) as well as the ability to track daily spending from said accounts and deposits made to them. It’d be really cool if it could categorize my spending.
Firefly 3 is the best personal finance software out there IMO. It's dockerised, and has the ability to sync with your bank via a data importer, or by manual entry.
