ActionHero VS Meteor JS

ActionHero.js is one of the most well-known API frameworks. It will help you quickly develop scalable and reusable Node.js API servers for your projects. Two of the major components of the @grouparoo/core application are a Node.js API server and a React frontend. We use Actionhero as the API server, and Next.JS for our React site generator. As we develop the Grouparoo application, we are constantly adding new API endpoints and changing existing ones.

At Grouparoo, we use Actionhero as our Node.js API server and Sequelize for our Object Relational Mapping (ORM) tool - making it easy to work with complex records from our database. Within our Actions and Tasks, we often want to treat the whole execution as a single database transaction - either all the modifications to the database will succeed or fail as a unit. This is really helpful when a single activity may create or modify many database rows.

Hard to say without knowing /what/ you want to accomplish in your CI process, so maybe some open source examples will help:

Websockets are the answer. Checkout https://www.actionherojs.com/ for a framework that works great as game server.

As you might have seen from this PR and in our forums Meteor v3(it is still in beta, but you can follow the progress here) will be released with a new engine, expressjs.

Community stats: The Meteor.js GitHub repository has an active community with 43.8k stars and 5.4k forks.

Finally, the release of Node 16 became basically incompatible with fibers and thus, Meteor.js got stuck on Node 14. This implied a major rewrite of a large potion of the platform's internals as it all depended on fibers. Further, it implied that all Meteor.js projects and packages required a major rewrite as well.

So, I found this project to be at release 0.8.3, which is from June, 2014. The latest available documentation are the release 1.3 docs. The related 1.3 release is tagged on GitHub from 2016, so there is basically a gap of two years in between this.
