  • How to embed a Word Processor in a React webapp?
    1 project | /r/codehunter | 7 May 2022

The closest solution what I want is WebODF. The demo here is basically what I need. However this project was last updated in 2015 and there is no support anymore, so I am pretty reluctant to try this out.

Is there any tool/package/API I could use to integrate/embed a word processor in my webapp?

The app would primarily be used on the desktop with Electron, so access to the local disk isn't an issue.

Would it be more viable to configure existing tools like Draft.js to use pagebreaks?

This is actually my 3rd version of a desktop environment and by far the one which I gave my most dedication. The first try was using Angular 8 and I only spent a month working on it with no intention of taking it too serious. The second try took me 4 months to make and was a bit more functional. But for my latest version I decided to do a total rewrite from scratch.
