Why do so many native games have broken controller mappings?

Yes and no, that's the fork, Proton is not exactly the fork, but a software bundle with more than just wine, although yes, wine is the most important piece.

Title says it already: Can somebody explain the differences of Lutris-Wine and Wine-GE to me? Especially because GloriousEgroll the maintainer of Proton-GE and Wine-GE also seems to be referenced in Lutris' wine builds.

Ran across this error earlier, To fix, I downloaded lutris-6.14-3-x86_64 from here, then placed the extracted contents into ~/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine
