VRChat is being review bombed to hell and back after anti-cheat announcement

Devs yelling "dont use mods" for a game where people use mods to fix features game lacks (here is one example with features like limiting people's avatars complexity so other people with weaker machines don't get lagged to hel) just shows how hard they are disconnected from their actual audience tho2 projects | /r/Games | 27 Jul 2022
On the other hand I also totally get why the community is frustrated with this. Here is just one example of a collection of mods and it's clear to see that the vast majority of mods aim to fix or improve issues with VRC, since the development of the official client is rather slow. It's a classic example of a passionate community fixing it themselves. And as said in the article, there are also a lot of accessibility mods.

I tried for weeks to get and understand how to get foveated rendering in Dirt rally and asetto corsa working. And I ended up with something, but it must have made less than 2% difference, so I think I did something wrong lol(AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH)! I tried using https://github.com/fholger/vrperfkit
Random lag in beat saber

These have ended up reducing lagspikes a bit for me, YMMV though. (if you aren't using the PC version ignore these lol) - Make sure your Quest is connected via USB3 (check Devices in the Oculus app I think) - Possibly put the files in vrperfkit in your Beat Saber folder, and put the OcuFix mod in your Beat Saber folder's Plugins folder - If on PC Steam, make sure it's launched with -vrmode oculus

For something like vrperfkit in steamVR it works in most DX11 titles if you have a recent nvidia card, but only DX12 games if you have an AMD card. https://github.com/fholger/vrperfkit

It could be something as simple as a setting in the ini files causing depth of field to be permanently out of whack. Also have you tried VR performance Toolkit?

Use VR Performance toolkit for the foveated rendering. Personally I cannot get the super-scaling options to look good they all introduce a ton of aliasing.
What are some alternatives?

openvr_fsr_app - Management Gui for OpenVR FSR PlugIn
