Stop excusing your bad behavior by hiding behind disabled people.
https://github.com/knah/VRCMods Here's a link to their VRChat mod repo. It shows that the vast majority of mods have been asked for for years. Keep in mind, knah is only one developer who was able to implement all of these features.
-
VRChat bans all mods, leaving disabled players and community feeling abandoned
Another one that comes to mind - though the company would tell you it's hard/impossible, there was a mod that fixed avatar self scaling (for avatars with that feature) in such a way that perspective and tracking points were correctly adjusted (you know, like in all the other social VR platforms). Here it is. It's not a very large mod.
-
VRChat is being review bombed to hell and back after anti-cheat announcement
Devs yelling "dont use mods" for a game where people use mods to fix features game lacks (here is one example with features like limiting people's avatars complexity so other people with weaker machines don't get lagged to hel) just shows how hard they are disconnected from their actual audience tho

Trusted users crashing others and using modded clients - happens way too often
In case you haven't already, https://github.com/knah/VRCMelonAssistant Snatch some anticrash mods from here, and I suggest going into your safety settings and turning off everything for anyone that isn't on your friends list. I keep Trusted and Known user avatars shown, but keep their shaders, custom animations, etc off at all times. I've never been crashed.
- If you are a VRChat user, and the crasher gangs have gotten to be too much. There is a way to stop most of it.
