Trumbowyg VS Cesium

DraftJS, Slate, ProseMirror, Quill and more - they all use their model for abstracting dom (unfortunately I don't rememeber what was the exact reasoning. Quill has some article on that https://quilljs.com/docs/delta) I can see now the surge of new RTEs that simply use contenteditable and dom. Is it that isssue from the past that led those libs above to use abstractions - are not valid anymore? I'd like to use Cesium ( https://github.com/CesiumGS/cesium ) in a WordPress site. It's a rather large Javascript library, and I expect there are some intricacies around integrating it into WP's own Javascript. Has anyone tackled this before and do you have any pointers?

vue-stack-cesium - A minimal sample configuration project with CesiumJS and all the awesome vue features. The project contains many examples how to combine and use certain packages to get started.

We'll use CesiumJS to visualize the result, but you can use any library/engine that can take in longitude, latitude, and height.
