Can I use some kind of visual editor to make apps using tkinter and pygame without having to type out all the coordinates of my assets?
Maybe try pygubu or tkinter-designer. I have heard of both, but not used either myself.

Pyside6 has QTDesigner that will let you build a gui. This guy on github made a tkinter-designer, but I do not know how complete it is.

Make tkinter look modern / good
I came across this project it uses the Figma design tool, figma.com to create the UI and converts the design to tkinter. I have not used it but it looks promising. https://github.com/ParthJadhav/Tkinter-Designer

Inspection tool for Tkinter(?)
pygubu which has pygubu-designer is not an inspection tool but a visual designer that allow you to build a GUI by selecting widgets and manipulating their parameters. It will generate the Python code for the built GUI or you can use pygubu to import a GUI file.

I also found pygubu-designer and PAGE, whose examples don't look as pretty, but that might be fixable with the right tk themes.
