try Solaar. it's meant to manage Logitech devices on linux. I'm not sure if what you're looking for is possible with it, but it's worth a shot. I remember something similar with a Logitech mouse once, it was by holding down one of the extra buttons and moving the mouse. maybe something like that is possible with this too?

Check out Solaar, they're specialized in Logitech support so I think you might have better chances with that tool. And it allows pretty complex custom rules so you should be able to create all the Macros you need https://i.imgur.com/65tDBs3.png
