15 months ago i posted about a program i was working on called SnailMail, shortly after the first alpha i discontinued because the code was sloppy and had a lot of issues. Last month I began work on completely remaking it and making it work a lot better (Added public key encryption, fixed file reads so it doenst fill memory, server can accept multiple clients, and made the ui better with more features). I wanted to come back to it to make something I was proud of, I plan on fixing the issues that I have in the readme relatively soon but this is the current product. Since you mentioned minimal GUI, have you thought of a TUI? I haven't spiked it out but I would guess Terminal.Gui would work with Native AOT

GTK support for macOS is being worked on for those who want to create applications for macOS.
I've had to resort to make TUIs with https://github.com/gui-cs/Terminal.Gui because there's no sane way to make a GUI app in Linux without a 300-files boilerplate or obscure languages.
