Warning, the reaction to massive security issues in a bundled PDF reader of the file manager made me uninstall all of these apps. Safety of my device and data is paramount.

Profiles sharing a directory?
You could try installing Material files in both profiles. It's also on fdroid. Set up the ftp server, choose what folders you want to share, in one profile and then connect to it in the other profile.

Using Pixel with a Mac
I use Filezilla and Material Files to transfer large / multiple files via ftp. Otherwise Neardrop works great for quick file sharing.

I think you'd like Amaze and Material Files. They both don't have an option for webdav though.

Why Material Files (Play Store version) has the permission to check the advertisement ID?
According to comments in this commit this permission is used for Google analytics.
