The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Simple web server to display Monero P2Pool stats
poolboy is a tiny (~ 200 lines of code) web server that renders a static page with stats from P2Pool data-api.

How do I know if I'm actually mining Monero correctly and everything is alright?
https://github.com/SChernykh/p2pool and followed the GNU/Linux guide, which is what I'm doing right now; it's making.
-
There should be a link to GUPAX in the pinned FAQ, please add :)
Just don't misinform new Monero users: p2pool and gupax are not a mining pool (that is by definition a web service maintained by another person) but rather a mining software that comes with a burden - its maintain costs and self-responsibility.

Hard drive full after trying my first mine? Help
If you choose to switch to p2pool, since you already have Xmrig downloaded you can just download p2pool from here or build it from the instructions here. If you choose this method, in your startup command use the same remote node that you are syncing your wallet to. The preferred method of running p2pool is with your own local node but you don't have the space for it. The other option, which would probably be the easiest option would be to download and install Gupax, it is a simplified installation program for both Xmrig and p2pool and can be downloaded from Gupax.io. When you start it up in Simple Mode it will test the speed and automatically select the fastest Remote node from the list I mentioned. All you have to do is put your wallet address in the Monero Address field start p2pool and wait for it to Synchronize and then start xmrig. Boom, you're mining to p2pool. If you are just mining with one computer or multiple computers with a combined Hash Rate of less than 75kH/s I suggest you mine on the mini p2pool sidechain. There are command line instructions for starting p2pool on the p2pool Github page and there is a quick installation video for Gupax on the Gupax site. Good Luck and if you have issues there are plenty of people here willing to help.

app to monitor p2pool?
P2Pool does not require a lot of resources. You can run the pool on an old computer and connect various clients to it. How to set the pool up is explained here: https://github.com/SChernykh/p2pool

Mine with a regular gaming pc
this is all you need , but many people like to use p2pool or gupax

with p2pool, how can set up for trusted miner rig only?
Take config.json for p2pool: https://github.com/SChernykh/p2pool/blob/master/config.json and set your own password. Then you'll be mining on a separate sidechain protected by this password. Everyone will need to add --config /path/to/config.json to p2pool command line, and probably also --addpeers YOUR_P2POOL_NODE_IP:37889 so other miners can find at least one node to sync from.

minexmr2.com updated to p2pool v3.1, monerod v0.18.2.0, and ready for Mar 18 p2pool (not monero) hardfork
I turn on N new cloud servers (VPS or bare-metal), on each one I then install the upstream part of the minexmr2 pool in conjunction with p2pool and monerod instances. The miners will be connected here.

Reminder: P2Pool network upgrade (aka hardfork) on March 18th, 2023
P2Pool (not Monero!) will hardfork to new consensus rules on March 18th at 21:00 UTC (use this link to convert to your local time). The hardfork is necessary to improve P2Pool scalability and reduce the impact on Monero blockchain. You'll need to update to P2Pool to v3.0 or newer version before this time (P2Pool v3.1 is recommended): https://github.com/SChernykh/p2pool/releases

What is the best algorithm to mine with exept rx/0 ?
This is where moneroocean comes in. While it's not recommended to mine on a big pool (to avoid centralization of the Monero network), moneroocean lets you mine shitcoins and exchange them with Monero. They also provide a custom XMRig build for that purpose.
Yes. Alternatively, you can mine another coin with a different algo and exchange that coin for Monero, either manually or through some service like moneroocean.

Hey, Can someone help me with this question. How Do I activate Cuda cores on gpu with my p2p programm Gupax? I already tried to modify the xmrig config file. but Gupax seems to complete neglect every attempt of changing the files. I hope somebody Can help with this noob question.
Use your GPU to mine some other algo on MoneroOcean and receive the payment for mining in XMR… ,maximize the efficiencies of other Lagos that are designed for GPU mining and get more XMR

Mine with a regular gaming pc
1) For directly mining XMR, your GPU really makes no difference. RTX 4090 or 3dfx Voodoo 3, as long as it can display to your monitor, that's what matters. If you want to utilize a powerful GPU and get paid out in XMR, look into https://moneroocean.stream/

12 NVIDIA GPU 3060 ti miner
If your set on earning XMR, mine on moneroocean.stream. It will take some configuring but you can mine alt coins and get paid out in monero. I frequently mine Ergo or Raven. Yesterday mining RVN on my 3070 equaled about 11KH of xmr hashrate
You can mine with GPU on moneroocean & get paid in monero

What is everyone doing with their rigs now that the profitability is so low?
If you pool mine then choose a pool outside of the top 3. You should consider using MoneroOcean as they offer algo-switching based on profit and support a number of coins. That said, XMR is often the most profitable to mine unless the machines lacks the specs listed above.
XMRig is the miner of choice. Read some docs and the optimization guide. /r/moneromining is a good resource.

C3pool vs Moneroocean
MoneroOcean's flexibility to mine potentially more profitable alt coins then get paid in XMR has made it popular. You'll want the MO XMRig fork to do so.
You can view the MO supported coins on the "coins" section of https://moneroocean.stream/
What are some alternatives?
