SAI VS apk-parser

root BlueStacks, install the game on it, use a root-compatible file explorer like fx to go to the path System (Root)/data/app/com.llc3909.papersplease-1/ and copy over the 'base.apk' and 'split_config' apk, install on your phone using a split APK installer

I'm a mobile player (Android) and I was installing Dead Cells on my Nvidia Shield using SAI. I noticed I never properly logged in on my first device, so I did after playing one game on the Shield. That overwrote my 4bc save. So I guess I'm effed? I do have the SAI backup, but I don't think that has save files. I tried logging out again but seems like you still keep the same save.

SAI - Split APK Installer

Other than the base APK, split APK files can’t be installed individually with the default APK installer. You can use ADB tool to install them in a command line (“adb install-multiple -r base.apk split_config.armeabi_v7a.apk split_config.hdpi.apk”). But the easiest way is to use the open-source Split APKs Installer (https://github.com/Aefyr/SAI/releases). In SAI, click “Install APKs” and select all APKs exported from an app bundle, and finally click “Install”."

SAI itself has to be sideloaded on Shield TV because it's not available to Android TV devices (but works fine with sideload): https://github.com/Aefyr/SAI/releases

Then you use a split apk installer, such as https://github.com/Aefyr/SAI/ Once you download and install this from the releases page, go ahead and install it. You will be using it for bundling together the base.apk and the 4 split*.apk's from the *.vending directory and installing those 5 apks from the *.vending directory together..

Install the set of APKs using Split APKs Installer (SAI). You can download SAI from its GitHub repo, F-Droid, or Google Play Store.

I've forked and updated an old, archived APK-parsing library (here's the original) that I use for one of my spare time apps (here), and made the library public and alive again, here.

2&3. I see. Sadly the Android framework can't parse split APK files. This is why there are some other libraries. Sadly what I consider as the most intuitive, comfortable, and light (apk parser, which I forked here to solve some of its issues) is not being maintained anymore. Do you know of a nice alternative to it?

In that case, why not take some abandoned library and re-publish it, making other people contribute to it? Example is this one which I've forked from here. It's a library to parse APK files without using the Android framework to do so. I used it on my own app (here) as it has advantages over what Android offers. Sadly it's archived and won't be updated anymore.
