RestClient .Net is completely immutable and therefore much more thread-safe. It also works well with standard Microsoft dependency injection, and it's easy to mock. Have a look at the abstraction. If you use this, it's a one-step process for mocking HTTP calls.

Looking for crazy ideas to improve performance for a html renderer
We also tried this library (https://github.com/ikorin24/U8XmlParser) instead of XmlReader and it gives a 15% performance improvement, but it has a few bugs that need to be solved.
What are some alternatives?
