Tried using RPiPlay on Pi 3B+, Avahi issues
After following all the instruction on the RPiPlay github, I seem to have been able to build RPiPlay on my Pi. This is what I did:
-
Using PiKVM to remote access a mobile device (Android/iPhone etc.)
I would be a dream if PiKVM can implement an AirPlay mirroring server like https://github.com/FD-/RPiPlay.
- PipeWire 0.3.60
- KVMD 3.151: iOS mouse buttons and mobile keyboard
-
Airplay 2 with Alexa

Show HN: RootMy.TV
Nice, I’d love to install software such as rpiplay [0] to mirror my iOS device, also would be nice to maybe gain some kind of low-latency wireless Linux-compatible screen share server.

- An open-source implementation of an AirPlay mirroring server for the Raspberry Pi. The goal is to make it run smoothly even on a Raspberry Pi Zero.

Use Raspberry Pi as Airplay server to screen mirror on TVs, monitors, projectors
How is this an improvement over https://github.com/FD-/RPiPlay.git ?

Any way to integrate iOS screen mirroring or facetime?
I‘ve used RPiPlay as an AirPlay mirroring server. You can set it up to run at startup and only be visible during active connections. This means that everything will work just like always until someone connects using screen mirroring.

RPiPlay - wireless HDMI?
You might give a try to https://github.com/FD-/RPiPlay

Can't see pulseaudio sink inputs when process is started by systemd service
Some background: I'm using a Pi Zero W Rev 1.1 hooked up to a TV over HDMI, acting as an AirPlay mirroring server (using RPiPlay). I'm running Raspbian Buster since I had problems building RPiPlay on Raspbian Bullseye. I have pulseaudio 12.2 installed, and I'm using gstreamer 1.14.4 as the audio renderer for RPiPlay.
