This year I didn't contribute any code, just documentation. I started with the Quelea projection software documentation as I knew there'd been some changes to the application recently. The table of contents needed updating, as did some of the instructions due to user interface changes.

I chose the Quelea project, which is an open source Java desktop project. Quelea is a competent cross platform church software developed to bring the best features from similar software, spiced with unique features, to every church for free. The founders have developed this software entirely on their spare time and the software is completely open source.

It's the day before Easter Sunday, and PP7 won't start.
I’ve been playing around with https://freeshow.app/ which is a PP7 alternative that is a work in progress. Doesn’t do Blackmagic outs or anything like that yet but it can leverage multiple monitor and hdmi outs. Might be worth a shot if you’re desperate.
