Hi HN.
I've recently built a Swift OSS - Atlantis[1] - which uses Method Swizzling[2] to automatically capture all traffic then transmitting it to the Proxyman [3] macOS app via Bonjour Server[4] for a later inspector.
Therefore, no need to mess up with HTTP Proxy or Certificate anymore. It just works.
Hopefully, it's easier to help folks debug your iOS app.

Add UIView below UISearchController in UINavigationController
Anyway, I am jailbroken and I used FLEX to inspect the UI. Here is the layout hierarchy if that helps any. From the looks of it, they do not use any subclassing for the UISearchController, however they do use a subclassed UINavigationController which may handle the custom scope bar though it appears as though it’s unrelated and only used for external keyboard navigation.
I used FLEX to inspect the app, unfortunately this requires a jailbroken device I order to inject into apps and processes other than your own.

This approach is similar to the FLEX library, but it's only for HTTP traffic, not Websocket, and you have to directly inspect your iOS apps.
