The big one for me is that Perl::LanguageServer doesn't support auto-completion.

In VSCodium the Open VSX registry is used which doesn't yet include the perl extensions.

Installing Perl Language server in Strawberry Perl fails
Also there is a similar issue in Mac which you are facing - https://github.com/richterger/Perl-LanguageServer/issues/95 . So not sure whether it is anything related to Strawberry Perl.
I tried to install Perl::LanguageServer on Windows 10, but the dependency IO::AIO fails to install, more information here: Language Server dependency IO::AIO installation is failing on Windows 10
