How to Setup a Minecraft Server on Ubuntu: A Step-by-Step Guide
We will be downloading the Minecraft server files into this directory. To preface, there are numerous variations of server JARs that can be used (e.g. Spigot, Paper, Purpur each touting their own benefits). For this tutorial, we will be working with Paper, a fork of Spigot that is optimized for performance.

Need help installing optifine on pop is (Mc 1.20.1)
I am going to assume your client needs the optimizations not the server otherwise I would recommend paper. If you are looking for client sided optimization I'm going to recommend things like sodium, Iris Sharders, and lithium. I have used Optifine in the past and found it to be sub par when compared to those three but you might find different. I am going to recommend Atlaunch as Ive found it to be better than prism but that's just an opinion.

Running 2 Minecraft servers
If you're not hosting it through a game server manager, I suggest using PaperMC for vanilla server. It comes with a /restart command you can run to restart the server, and you can find and add a plugin that does that for you. There is a mod for that for use on modded servers as well.

Why users should care about QuiltMC?
Fabric's Lead Developer as a Tyrant philosophy isn't necessarily bad; there are significant benefits to having a very unified vision and avoiding design by committee. But it necessarily limits throughput at that Tyrant, and in Fabric's case, that lead to a generally slow level of progress on a lot of important aspects, partly because people spent a lot of time in Discord talking about making a perfect Fluid API, or Config API, and never actually got around to making one, and partly because once they were made it'd spend the better part of a year with things sitting in PR or only as an issue. Forge had a similar problem back in the 1.6-1.7 days (until it finally just got in the habit of getting people sick of having to deal with dependencies and just merging in a best extant normal-person library), but Forge could get away with that when the alternative was vanilla. From a user's perspective, if you want a config system, or standardized (not-TechReborn) energy api, this matters.

Question about modding APIs
Forge comes with a big "standard library" as part of the loader itself, which doesn't count as a mod. Fabric Loader, on the other hand, barely knows anything about Minecraft at all, and "Fabric API", a very popular dependency, is structured as a big jar with like 40 or 50 little mods in it. Each one is counted separately by the loader.

Anyone out of LAN can't play in my locally hosted FABRIC 1.17.1 server (port forwarded correctly)
Yes my friends connect to my public ip, already they can connect, they just get disconnected instantly. Server and clients had 0 mod (client doesn't even matter, with or without fabric-api). It was same thing with 1.17 before. Also have tried a 1.17.1 modpack. I couldn't find any help about this for weeks. [My discussion on Fabric GitHub](https://github.com/FabricMC/fabric/discussions/1577) (no answer).

Great list! However, I should add that Fast Furnace is now integrated into Fabric! If I'm not mistaken, this pull does the same thing: https://github.com/FabricMC/fabric/pull/1108
