  • What happened to Improved Town Industries' Nuclear Update?
    2 projects | /r/openttd | 13 Apr 2023
I'd check the changelog to find out, but it stops at version 1.7.3, and until then there was no mention of the nuclear part of the industry chain getting axed.

You’d need a NewGRF industry set. I created Improved Town Industries, which does this and a lot more but tries to stay close to the design philosophy of the original industries (versus something like FIRS). You can learn more at: https://github.com/2TallTyler/improved_town_industries

  • How to make an objects newgrf?
    1 project | /r/openttd | 2 Feb 2021
I have objects larger than 1x1 in Improved Town Industries (the Iron Mine is a nice simple example) but not multiple views.

You may also appreciate a NewGRF industry set. FIRS is the standard and adds a lot of nuance, although it doesn't affect passengers. I created Improved Town Industries to expand on the vanilla industries and add workers. If used with the accompanying house set Improved Town Layouts, you can also add waste collection from houses.
