Pro tip the source code was released a few years ago and some fans made some updates: https://github.com/JACoders/OpenJK you only need to download the files from Amazon and then execute from the openjk to enjoy the game fully on modern systems, works with mods too.

I need a game like OW.
You could try Dirty Bomb or the classic Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory for some class-based objective shooters. Both are free to play.

So I found an old screenshot of my desktop from 2007...
Look up ETLegacy some nice guys from the old scene have basically remastered it - hd graphics updated sounds etc. All things in one place!

Off topic, but if it was Wolfenstein ET I will just add that there still is a community for it and a Foss version of it that runs on modern operating systems
