But to answer your question (which was probably the main point and you already knew the above, and if i was smart enough I would have thought of that before writing this), MasterPlan is a cool project i found, but nothing big.

I use MasterPlan to create a design document that doubles as a task board: https://solarlune.itch.io/masterplan Every Monday I go through my tasks and assign a due date to the tasks I'd like to complete in the next week.

So then don't drink the kool-aid and use an open source alternative...

MasterPlan can be built from source for free, similar to Aseprite.
