Had to roll back Photoshop to 2021 and apply a few commands to keep from crashing constantly. Other than that, everything has worked flawlessly. I've got an X230t, and T530 (Almost EXACTLY identical to yours, except a 15.3", 1080p screen), and OC works just fine on 11.6.6. In fact, it's one of my best/stable builds. Read the guide thoroughly, and follow the IvyBridge post-install section to get Power Management working correctly. You need to install 1vyRain or another unlocked BIOS if you want to swap the wireless card. Only drawback is if you have a DGPU, your DP out won't work as that's where it's routed from. You won't get a much easier laptop build than one of these.

Dortania OpenCore guide for Intel and AMD

Yes. Many people here use them as their primary production machines. Some of us here use them as secondary/backup machines. Either way, it will be just as, if not more capable than the real thing. If you're the slightest bit technically inclined, you shouldn't have any troubles. I would suggest searching, since this question pops up weekly. Read the Guide, then read it a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th time. If you've never done this before, have patience and an extra computer. Take extra time, and follow the guide section by section as you go. It's not something that can be done in an hour. Good luck!

Hey there first time Hackintosher here i followed the open core install guide and I keep getting the error apfs_module_start (I think) 2485 and I've have been trying for hours to fix this and was hoping if one of u can look at my EFI file and see whats wrong with it

In addition, low effort posts from people that have no intent of researching the hackintoshing process beforehand will be removed. Make sure you read up on the Dortania guide before making a post asking about simple hackintosh-related questions.

I have used this EFI ( xiaoMGitHub/LEGION_Y7000Series_Hackintosh) which is working perfectly without any issues in my LegionY540, But in Legion 5i the following problem arise.

I used this EFI and it worked, i booted till installer, because i dont have an extra disk/drive i will buy it later.
