now, if you write component.redstone.setOutput(0, 15)that will output a signal redstone of 15 to the bottom face of the Redstone I/O, also it will print to the last value of the redstone signal, in this case that will be 0 for default. None of the current open issues on the chisel&bits github reflect your problem so it looks like just an issue on your server and not a bug in the version of the mod used.
