Hi everyone, I want to share with you a project that I think is very cool and useful. It’s called Open-IM-Server, and it’s an open source messaging solution that can empower seamless communication for any application. Open-IM-Server is an instant messaging server written in pure Golang, using JSON over websocket as the wire transport protocol. It supports multiple protocols, such as TCP, HTTP, and GRPC, and can be deployed using clusters. It also has a rich set of features, such as group chat, voice and video calls, file transfer, push notifications, and more. One of the best things about Open-IM-Server is that everything is a message, which means you can easily extend custom messages without modifying the server code. You can also use the provided SDKs for Android, iOS, Flutter, and Web to quickly integrate Open-IM-Server into your own applications. I recently wrote an article on Medium where I explain more about Open-IM-Server and how it can help you create amazing communication experiences for your users. You can read it here: article If you are interested in Open-IM-Server, you can find the source code on GitHub: Source Code , where you can also join the community and contribute to the project. Thank you for reading!

I’m really excited for Git’s recent addition of commit signing with SSH keys. It already works with 1Password SSH and I can’t wait for GitHub and Gitlab to support verification!
