OneDrive Requires Admin Approval - Workarounds?
I am trying to use the OneDrive I get from my university on my Fedora 38 laptop. I tried two different programs 1 & 2. But when they redirect me to OneDrive's website, I get an error that the admins have to approve the application. The IT told me they won't do it, so I am looking for possible workarounds. Is there any cloud storage aggregator platform, like a website where you can add different cloud storage services? Then, I might be able to use that client to sync. Or do you have any other ideas what I can do?

KDE is starting to treat X11 users as second-class citizens
For example, this app will work in the tray on xorg and it just breaks and doesn't go to tray on wayland. I was the first to discover this problem and the dev doesn't know how to fix it so this app will never work properly on wayland.
It was an application bug, the developer fixed it in https://github.com/bpozdena/OneDriveGUI/issues/41#issuecomment-1192894239 . Seems to be https://github.com/bpozdena/OneDriveGUI/commit/a1fd40e31033aea5422bf340e9bb151c23f31858 .

Linux for Star Citizen
When you get to it - there are only 5 reliable ways to access OneDrive on Linux/Unix platforms: * Via the OneDrive Client for Linux - https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive - this 'syncs' your data, bi-directional operation, open source and free. Supports Personal, Business & SharePoint account types and Shared Folders. A Docker container is also available for all major architectures (x86_64, ARMHF, AARCH64). If you need a GUI for onedrive client management use: https://github.com/bpozdena/OneDriveGUI * Via the 'onedriver' client - https://github.com/jstaf/onedriver - Native file system that only provides the OneDrive 'on-demand' functionality, open source and free. Supports Personal, Business account types. Currently does not support Shared Folders or SharePoint. * Via 'rclone' - https://rclone.org/ - one way sync client, open source and free. Has limitations with SharePoint. * Via non-free clients such as 'insync', 'ExpanDrive' * Via the web browser of your choice

Using MS OneDrive(r) on Debian 12 -- but .deb packages only for Deb 10/11
I first started with this onedrive client https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive (+ the GUI package) and got it working fine, but it seems like a sync all-or-nothing deal.

OneDrive Requires Admin Approval - Workarounds?
I have used an app called, appropriately, onedrive. The git repository and info is here. Once you connect to OneDrive (not hard to do at all) you can do anything in the folder and when you start the command from the CLI it will sync the files to your account and update the files on the server. There are a few custom options you can set to streamline. I used it for a long time syncing with Windows and it works great.
